Overview

Our Physical Activity and Health Promotion degree prepares you to be a future leader in the healthcare and fitness industry.

We’ve designed this course in collaboration with leaders in the sector. And ensured it’s in line with current and future healthcare and public health agendas.

You will study:

  • how the human body responds to sport, exercise, nutrition and public health interventions
  • how to use these interventions to maximize health across the lifespan.

Our staff are active researchers and clinicians within the field. Their expertise informs their teaching and keeps you up to date with the latest developments in the area.

You will have many work experience opportunities with local healthcare and community organizations.

You will also have the ability to attain internationally recognised vocational qualifications by CIMSPA which demonstrate a practical ability that is vital in post-graduate employment.

On graduating you will have the knowledge and practical skills to develop and deliver:

  • exercise and activity interventions
  • health promotion initiatives
